Examples are jumping, sprinting, weight lifting, and interval training. It’s pushing your body to the limit with short intense workouts.
That’s a good benefit for all busy people these days; it can be done in a lot shorter amount of time than aerobic exercise. However, let’s get down to the nitty gritty.

As we already discussed, muscle uses energy, or burns calories all day long, even while you are vegging out on the couch.
In addition, after a quick 20-minute intense workout, your body will keep burning calories for hours afterward. The facts show without a doubt that while both types of exercise are good for you, anaerobic is definitely the method of choice to boost metabolism.
