Peptic ulcer specific symptoms are gnawing, burning pain in the upper abdomen. Symptoms frequently occur several hours following a meal after the food leaves the stomach but acid production is still high. Extreme burning sensation, instead of pain some patients experience intense hunger or bloating. Some patients have no pain but have black stools which indicate that ulcer is bleeding.
Peptic ulcer refers to an area of stomach which becomes eroded by the acid. These are known as stomach and duodenal ulcers but collectively saying peptic ulcers. There may be no symptoms although the patient has an ulcer, but frequently they are associated with indigestion or pain in the upper abdomen or lower chest. The pain may be worse before or after eating and even frequently wakes the patient in early hours of the morning. If the ulcer bleeds patient may vomit blood or partially digested food (which looks like coffee grounds) or pass black stools which contains changed blood when the patient goes to the toilet. It is noticed that this disease runs in families, smokers are on increased risk. Heavy drinking, use of certain anti-inflammatory drugs are also the main causes of this disease. BM peptic ulcer compositum is quite helpful and recommended therapy to get rid of this disease.
