I'm a 54 year old mother of 3 grown children. I've always had horrible heavy menstrual periods with clots. I Started Mensus at about age 11. As I have gotten older my periods would become heavier with clotting. When I sought help with obgyn of course they wanted to do a hysterectomy. But being a working parent with no health insurance was an issue for me. As I couldn't take off work. The obgyn have told me my heavy mentrual cycles were due to hormones as they never could find any fibroids and Cancer screening negative. I've tried several medicines like provera, DIM but noithing seemed to work for me.
